Betsy Masterson is no longer accepting new students. She and her husband are retiring and moving to Oregon at the end of this year (2018). A hearftfelt thank you to all who have been a part of this amazing adventure into the realm of music and personal growth!

Music is the universal language of the soul. It speaks to the very heart of who we are and what we experience in life: beauty and harshness, compassion and anger, joy and sadness. Learning to play an instrument expands one's appreciation of the world. It touches the heart, improves the mind, and allows connection to those with whom it is shared.

Whether you are looking for someone to teach your child the violin, or you are an adult looking for lessons for yourself, I would love to hear from you. I offer violin lessons at all levels to all ages, and viola lessons to beginning and intermmediate students only. My teaching methods include both Suzuki (for younger children) and traditional. You can learn more about the Suzuki method and about my professional background by clicking on the "About Us" tab at the top of the page.

Music is, by and large, a social activity. With that in mind, my studio perfoms at regular events during the year. In addition, students also meet several times during the year for group classes.
